Won't it be kinda cool if you could actually see how much time other people have left in their lives? So if their time actually runs out, you're able to pull them out of danger. but the only ones that you cant help are those already dying.

but the downside is that when you are the one being pulled out of certain death, you are living on borrowed time.
that's why the guy cant see his own "countdown".

he should be dead.

just imagine, if everyone had that gift.
or curse.

it varies on how you look at it.
